Obituary of Richard J. Manning

Manning, Richard J. After a 6 long year battle with cancer Richard J. Manning (Dad) was finally taken by the Lord Wednesday morning August 31st 2016. Doctors and Nurses told the family they have never witnessed someone fight so hard especially in his last months as his will to survive was unprecedented. A devoted father of 4 and a cherished grandfather of 5 he was always very proud of his family. He valued and enjoyed the holidays with his children Jeremy, Jessica, Rick & Jeannette, grand kids Mia, Michael, Cody, Lane, Liam, Sister Gail, and brothers Bryan & Tony. A passionate sports fan who loved and grew angry at times with the Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Orioles. He was a longtime season seat holder of the Rochester Redwings during the 80s and 90s with his son Jeremy and a longtime volunteer and employee of The Town of Henrietta during the 2000’s . He enjoyed his times at the Char Pit in Charlotte, The Blue Angles, Beach Boys and 3 Stooges. Rick always went above and beyond to make sure his children always had what they needed and what they wanted no matter the cost. He will be gravely missed and mourned by his family and all who encountered him. The family would like to invite everyone to the funeral service Wednesday September 7th from 4-7PM at Falvo Funeral Home on North Goodman St. & to the burial service on Saturday September 10th; 11AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
