Passed away peacefully on January 20, 2016. Predeceased by his parents John & Carmella Carlevatti, brother Peter Carlevatti & sister Gloria Loiacono.
John is survived by his loving daughter Jennifer Carlevatti Aderhold and her mother Patricia Carlevatti; sisters Louise Caputo and Patricia (Michael) Giannavola; many cousins, nieces nephews and dear friends.
John was a teacher and administrator in the Rochester, Brighton and East Rochester School districts. He was innovative in many programs and projects, especially the first audio visual bus introduced in the Rochester School District, as well as serving his country with the US Army.
The family will receive friends and family Saturday 1-2 PM, at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd. (Rte. 250) followed by his funeral service at 2 PM.
Interment Private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association
Many thanks to the staff on the 6th floor of the Jewish Home, as well as John's Angel Companions who showed him kindness and special care.
