Obituary of Franklin J. Radler Jr.

Radler, Franklin J. Jr. "Frank", "Boppa Frank" Brighton, NY: Passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2016 at the age of 76. Raised in East Stroudsburg, PA. Predeceased by his parents, Franklin Sr. and Betty. Survived by his loving sons, Michael (Jean) and Stephen (Melanie); his beloved grandchildren, Alec, Emily and Joshua; his sister, Sandy (Jerry) & brother, Michael; many nieces and nephews; and man's best friend, his Shetland Sheepdog, "Colleen". Frank was a retiree of Eastman Kodak and played fast pitch softball for Kodak recreational league and then at Gears Park. After 30+ years at Eastman Kodak, Frank went onto become a PGA golf professional, working at Ontario Country Club (Brookwoods) for 20+ years. Frank was a proud Penn State Alumnus graduating in 1961 and a Rochester Americans season ticket holder for almost 30 years. Frank was an avid sportsperson, golfer and friend to all. Frank loved attending all of his son's and grandchildren's various activities and watching his Nittany Lion's, Orioles, Sabres and Amerks. Frank enjoyed meeting "the gang" at Steve's Diner in Penfield. Friends may call at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road, Webster, N.Y. (Rte 250) on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. A service to celebrate Frank's life will be held at White Haven Cemetery in "All Seasons Chapel", 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, New York on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 9:00am. In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation in Frank's memory to Veterans Outreach Center, 459 South Avenue, Rochester, New York 14620.
