I am truly saddened to hear about the passing of Tom. My condolences to his wife and family and to all who knew him. I was really lucky to have gone to Cortland and having been matched with Tom that first year. Really made the adjustment to college a lot easier than it might have been. Especially because our other roommate (we were tripled our freshman year) made us both crazy!

I had thought about Tom of late we went to SUNY Cortland together. Received a text today from Steve Tybur-Tom's roommate our freshman year @ Cortland. Some fond memories of Tom, he was amazing at foosball, he could do many handstand pushups. Lastly, I asked him how he could wrestle at a certain weight -he told me eat like a king at breakfast, a prince at lunch and pauper at dinner. RIP Tom, condolences to his family. I wished we could have re-connected. Mark Marvin

Dear Mrs. Febrey,
I was saddened to hear That your husband Tom Febrey has passed on Wednesday. I've known Mr. Febrey for more than half of my life and he was one of the most important people I have met while I was at Doane Stuart. I ran weight lifting club with him, he taught me for six years, and he was my coach for three years, throughout this time I got to know a really great man who was always there when I needed someone to talk to. I will miss the conversations about sports that we had and how he always knew how to make someone feel important when they needed it. Tom was a kind and caring man while I knew him, and he will always be one of the most important people that I got to know while I went to DS.
I am sorry for your loss and I want you to know that my heart is with you and your family
With deepest sympathy,
Schyler Schewe
