Thomas, Joseph Michael, Sr. W. Irondequoit: Age 51, a lifetime resident of West Irondequoit in Rochester, NY, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2015, of A.L.S. at Highlands at Brighton Nursing Home. Born September 28, 1963 to Mary (DiFiore) & Fred Thomas. Married Melissa Ellinwood on September 22, 2007. Best known as head chef of Legacy at Park Crescent, where he also met his bride. Joe was a lover of sports, a loyal friend and dedicated father. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Marie Thomas; his sons, Curtis Franklin Malcolm and Joseph Michael Thomas; and daughters, Abigale Rose and Haley Marie; sister, MaryLynn Thomas of West Irondequoit; and brother, Eric Mongie; his supportive in-laws, Bette (Brown) and Dan Palermo; plus many loyal friends.
