I wish to express my deepest sympathy on the loss of Janet. May you receive encouragement from Jesus’ words at John 5:28, 29 which says: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Jesus’] voice and come out”. The words ‘memorial tombs’ suggest that Janet is in God’s memory until he has his Son, Jesus Christ, resurrect her. The Scriptures reassure us that God cannot lie, so when this resurrection takes place, imagine how overjoyed you could be when you are reunited with Janet again. As you cherish fond memories of her, it is my desire that this promise comforts your grieving hearts.
