Obituary of Joel Grosshans

Grosshans, Joel A. Charlotte: August 16, 2011. Predeceased by parents, Raymond and Thelma; and brother, Ray. Survived by loving wife of 49 years, Mary Jane (Walter) Grosshans; brother, John (Lecretia) Grosshans; brothers-in-law, Charles & Donald (Lila) Walters; many nieces and nephews; especially his loving nephew Christopher (Megan) Sweet and their children, Maddy, Emily & William for their kindness and care; and special cousin Shirley LoMaglio. The family extend a special thanks to the staff and caregivers of Latta Road Nursing Home. Joel was a long time member of the Rochester Yacht Club and Director for the Ontario Beach Program Committee and was also Captain for the Safe Boating Program. Family will receive Friday (TODAY) 5-7 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St. Memorial Service at 7 PM. Interment private.
