Fair, Douglas J. Rochester: August 4, 2011 Age 55 after a long courageous battle with cancer Doug has joined the Lord. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Magdalene Fair. He is survived by his wife, Wendy; son, Jason and daughter, Stephanie; mother-in-law, Barbara Bouwens; sisters, Deborah (Michael) Borque, Dianne (Douglas) Mills; brothers, David and Donald (Ava) Fair; several nieces and nephews; his brother Firefighters, Boys of Truck #5 and lifelong friends, Bill Mostyn, Jim Hulse, Bill Curran, Norman Evans and Joe Ryan. Calling SUNDAY 2-6 at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St. On Monday please meet the family at 10 AM in Peace of Christ at St. Ambrose Church (Culver Rd. at Empire Blvd.) for the Celebration of his Funeral Mass. Doug was a Rochester Firefighter for 19 years, which was his dream. A special thanks for the love and support from all of our friends and neighbors, Gail at the Pluta Center, Dr. Richard Constantino and his nurses, Dr. James B. at Dana Faber and Dr. Doerr.
