When I was growing up Uncle Max was like a second father to me. He was a good man who always had a funny story to tell. I, along with anyone who met him, will always remember him.
Just one of many memories...When I was a kid my parents and I went on a trip to Gettysburg with Aunt Fran, Uncle Max and my cousin Peter. During the visit we stopped at a gift shop. There was this toy gun I wanted but for some reason my parents said they couldn't get it for me. After I left the shop with my parents, we were sitting by the car and I looked over and here comes Uncle Max with that gun in his hand for me. I still have that gun...
