Obituary of James Kopelke

Kopelke, James Webster: Went home to the Lord on 5/19/11. After a professional career as a teacher, Jim developed a passion for leading sing-alongs with seniors who remember music of the 30s and 40s. He took his keyboard on the road as "Jim's Sentimental Journeys." Jim leaves behind his wife, Beth Helvig; two children, Kendra (Jon Shorr) and Paul (Cindy) Kopelke of Baltimore; six grandchildren, and a great-grandson. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated. Jim never let a day pass without counting his many blessings!
