Obituary of Philip Genovese

Genovese, Philip J. Webster: May 13, 2011, age 88. Predeceased by his wife, Lucy, his brother, Nicholas; and great-granddaughter, Angelina Hope. Survived by his daughter, Phylis Genovese; son, Frank Genovese; grandchildren, Katherine Saia, Johnna (Michael) LoBiondo, and Francesca Genovese of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Jenny Genovese; many nieces and nephews. He was a WW II veteran, serving in the 8th Air Force in England, a longtime and passionate wood worker, an employee of Aeolin Piano Works for many years, and a lifetime member of G.C.L. and the M.C.L. Calling MONDAY 4-8 at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Nine Mile Point Rd., (Webster, Rte. 250). On TUESDAY please meet the family at 10 AM in St. Mary's Church, downtown for the celebration of his Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Assn. or the American Diabetes Assn. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. "A special thank-you to the Medical Staff at Rochester General Hospital, the St. Ann's Community, and Visiting Nurse Palliative Care."
