Obituary of Barbara DiStefano

DiStefano, Barbara (Capone) Irondequoit: January 25, 2011. Predeceased by her husband, Philip and brothers, Johnny and David Capone. Survived by her children Eva (Ron) Podsiadly, Gemma (Bill) Gruhn, Barb Ballou (Chris Nichols), Sandy May (Bill Krecker) and son, Phil, Jr.; grandchildren, RJ (Stephanie) and Justin Podsiadly, Bill (Wendy), Chris (Lindsay), and Jayme Gruhn, Jennifer Leder , and Jeremy Coules; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Mattei and Clara Rizzo; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Angela Capone, Pat (Carrie) DiStefano, Jackie (Al) Meyvis, Madeline Howell, Phyllis Boyce, Linda DiStefano, Lorraine LaMoy, Patty (Doug) Mattice, Peggy DiStefano, many nieces and nephews; longtime friends, Mary Masley and cousin, Flo Aceto. Barb was a long time member of the Pt. Pleasant Ladies Auxiliary. The family would like to thank Joe Brucato for making her feel so special. Calling Saturday 1-4 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Nine Mile Pt. Road, Webster (Rte 250). Funeral Service will be held after calling at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers , donations to Golisano Children's Hospital, Stroll for Strong Kids - Christopher's Crew, in Barb's memory. Interment private Irondequoit Cemetary.
