Obituary of Christine Cantella

Cantella, Christine (Jacobs) Rochester: Passed away peacefully December 2, 2010 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her husband, James Michael; son, James Peter; and grandson Stephen Cantella. Survived by her two children, Madeline Weihe and Patty McGraw; devoted son-in-law Ronald McGraw; and daughter-in-law, Janice Cantella. Also survived by grandchildren, Robert Weihe, Christy (Bob) Shahnazarian, James (Debby) Weihe, John (Colleen) Weihe, David (Rosalyn) Weihe, James (Maria) Cantella, Lisa (Dan) Cantella-Rieder, Michael, David (Pam) & Lori Cantella, Tony Montaro, Daniel (Mary) McGraw & Kelly (Justin) Guidice; many great and great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her close niece, Joanne Spano, along with many other nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers on the eighth floor of St. Ann's Community, especially Marisol, Jackie, Stephanie, and Fran who were also her friends. No prior calling. Christine's memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 1 PM in the Chapel of St. Ann's Home, 1500 Portland Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Annie's Angels Fund at St. Ann's Home. Interment private.
