Randy, is the older brother I never had. He taught me all the good things and sins you should learn from an older brother. He taught me how to smoke, the pleasures of fine bourbon, how to bet horses, the angst of being a Yankee fan, how to shoot, how to win with humility, he gave me the nickname that stuck for life and he was my "consigliere", when it came to life's issues. In the end, he taught me how to die with dignity and humor intact. "Partner", you were more than a brother. You were my best friend. I will always, sorely miss your laugh, your love and all the great times we shared for almost 30 years. Our travels and trials shooting skeet, our special trip to Toronto and the vacation in Las Vegas will never be forgotten.
And man, the stories I could tell. How we ended up driving through a cornfield on our way back from Lewiston after winning the 2-man Event with a perfect score at the State Shoot. Your amazement the first time we went with Sally to the Red Osier, when she ordered and finished the "Call Cut". The time I was so drunk at the Red Osier, that I ordered a filet, thinking it was a fish dish. Then there was the time at "Como's", when you were so drunk that you thought the slices of garlic on your macaroni were almonds. We had more good times and laughs than I will ever remember.
With you and my Mother gone, our Holidays will never be the same. You have been a member of our family for so long. When you meet her again upstairs, please tell my Mom how much I miss her, too.
With these fresh tears in my eyes, I shall say good-bye for now, my friend. Until we meet again, please know that I loved you very much.
Your Friend,
Stump

Ever since I was a little girl my grandpa has always joked around with me and called me his "little peanut"! Some of his jokes he would tell me were either I would ask him what are you up to? He would reply,"6ft 2"... Or how are you feeling? He would say "with my hands". Every time he would tell a joke he would say that he made a funny. Or he would also like to blame bodily noises on a duck!!! "I must have stepped on a duck" I will always remember my Papa in Yankee Stadium with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. He will be sitting in the best seat in the house! Every time the umpire makes a bad call he will be swearing and smacking him upside the head screaming bad call bad call! So next time you watch a Yankees game watch the umpire and see if he swats at his head or looks around mysteriously…
My grandpa will be loved and missed dearly he was a great man and a funny one to!!!
