Obituary of Raymond Nersinger

Nersinger, Raymond G. Jr. Penfield: Feb. 11, 2010. Age 87. Predeceased by his beloved grandson, David Willmes; and granddaughter, Debra Willmes; his sister, Carol Guelzow; and brothers, Earl, Norman and Donald Nersinger. Survived by his loving wife, Joan; his children, Linda (Dennis) Brutsman, Kathy (James) Milazzo, Robert (Carl) Nersinger and Patty (Perry) Humphrey; grandchildren, Brooke Willmes, Ashley, Kristin and Tyler Humphrey and Lindsay and Matthew Nersinger; sisters, Nancy (Edward) Merritt, June (Ernest) Stelianou; brothers, James (Junko), Jerry (Barbara), Thomas (Virginia) and Edward (Carol) Nersinger; brothers-in-law, Richard, and Ronald (Pat) Missell; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Ray was a WWII US Army Air Corp veteran, who's aircraft was downed over Germany where he spent 18 months in prison camp and was rewarded with numerous metals some of which were the Metal of Honor, and The Purple Heart. Calling Saturday Feb. 13, 2010 from 1-4 PM at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport NINE MILE PT. ROAD, where a Prayer Service will be celebrated immediately following calling hours at 4 PM. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, please honor Ray by donating to the Monroe Community Hospital (435 E. Henrietta Road, Roch, 14620) who took such wonderful care of him these past years.
