If this is/was "The Carl" aka "Chief 30W" that used to work for Parts Supply Inc., thirty years ago on Culver Rd, then I guess I have the right person, but am saddened dearly to hear of his passing. If not, then I truly apologize if any statements offend. Carl was a fun loving, outgoing and diligent person, (can you say ballbreaker?) a pleasure to work with back then, and his subsequent phone calls to me (every ten years or so thereafter?) always brought a smile and fond memories to both of us. I truly wish that we crossed paths more frequently in life, and that I had the pleasure of meeting his family. My sincere condolences to his loved ones and family. His time here was way too short. God must of needed him in heaven with some urgency is all I can surmise, although he naturally liked to be first, due in part to his competitive nature. At least he will be another friend I'll look forward to seeing there eventually! Our prayers go out to his family and loved ones as they deal with the aftermath of losing such a loved and talented guy. There will be no replacement, nor should there be! We all will miss him.
