Sadness is aworld which can not be seen. This world is the feeling which inhabets my soul when I heard that my old friend and partner had passed away. we grew up on the strees of Rochester and attended Mt Carmel school.Ito and several of our other freinds would raise cain whenever we got together. These are moments that I will always cherrish.Time and destiny took us all in different directions. The memory that we were is still there. I want to tell itos family that I will always keep him and the other members of his family in my thought and prayers

Carmelo, you were like a brother to us. You were truely funny, funnier than Leno, Letterman, Buddy Hackett and Moms Maybellie. You helped my brothers catch, and train pigeons and lend a hand in constructing their little homes up in our attic. We all traveled together to and from Mount Carmel School, Ontario St., North Union Street where Pat Ross Groceries store was -from which we bought our comic books and little bags of Frito Lay corn chips and Cracker Jacks, Lindhurst St. with the cherry tree near the wall, and the short cuts threw the alleys that twist and turn every which way but straight. That was more than four decades ago, but still vividly as fresh in my mind as yesterday. You help "Tica" construct a Di-pole antenna to DX TV stations broadcasts as far away as Florida, Alabama, Texas. You would stop by to look through the Telescope to see the planets and the only green star in our universe. And when a bicycle needed fixing, you were one of the best mechanics anybody could depend on. When I needed a bicycle, you and my brothers gathered together scrape from the front yards all around the neighborhood, and built a bicycle from scratch that was just as good as any store bought one. Even the kids with the expensive 10 speeds, wanted to ride it, with just 3 speeds it was one of the smoothest, fastest bicycle in the area. We will miss you everyday. We will miss your lightness of spirit. We will miss your candid and tough character tempered with tact and friendliness. And as we draw nearer to the end of our twilight, we will have the memories of you for a beacon to lift us up back unto our feet when life has let us down, and those memories will accompany us until we meet again at the Supper of the Lamb, You, Gus, and the others. May the grace of God bring comfort and peace to all the members of your family during this very sad and painful time.
