Licata, Celestine T. "Sally", "Dolly" Rochester: August 2, 2009. Loving wife of 63 years to Samuel "Red" Licata. Loving mother of 3 daughters, Marie Elaina Licata, Angela Garritano, Celeste (Steve) Fersaci; son-in-law, James Garritano. Grandmother of Christina Garritano, Alanna (Jason) Knupp, Alexander, Jason, and Brandon Fersaci. Born and raised in Rochester, NY Sally worked at Menahans, a Tailor Shop in downtown Rochester, where she was introduced to her husband. This was right before he left for WW II. Matriarch of her close Italian family, she had a love of sewing, cooking and baking. She cherished the time with her children, grandchildren and friends. She will be missed forever by her family and for her generous, loving nature and infectious smile and laugh. Calling Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 North Goodman St. Funeral Wednesday at 9:30 in St. Andrew's Church Those wishing may donate to the Alzheimer's Assn. in her memory.
