Obituary of Mary Harmer

Harmer, Mary M. (Sudermann) Webster: Feb. 23, 2012 at Rochester General Hospital. Predeceased by parents, aunts & uncles. Survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Leslie T. Harmer; children, Leslie (Barbara) Harmer, Katherine Harmer, Margaret (Michael) Moore, David (Jennifer) & Paul (Patricia) Harmer; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mary was born into the Mennonite Church in Waterloo, Ontario Canada on June 26, 1927. She was trained as a teacher at Hamilton Normal School in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. She received her Bachelors Degree from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario and her Masters Degree locally from Nazareth College. Mary was the author of "The Only White Rose" a short story book detailing her upbringing in the Mennonite Community. Calling SUN. Noon-4PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 NINE MILE POINT RD., Webster (Rte.250) where funeral services will take place at 4PM after visiting. Interment will be private.
