Predeceased by his wife, Matilda; children, Augustine, Carmelo and son-in-law, Felix Medero. Survived by his children, Martin (Raquel), Angela (Melbil) Reyes, Natalia Medero, Gladys Burgos-Pedraza (Victor), David; daughter-in-law, Judy Pedraza; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Josefa Pedraza; many nieces and nephews.
Pedro was born on December 26, 1921 in Cidra, Puerto Rico. He worked as a migrant worker when he arrived to Rochester in 1954. He worked full-time at Delco Products retiring in 1985. He was always involved with the Catholic Church, attending Mt. Carmel. He fought diligently for equal opportunity employment for Hispanics. He was one of the founders of Ibero American Action League and Action for a Better Community. He was the 1st Hispanic to work as a Democratic Committeeman for the 21st District.
