Obituary of Salvatore Dalberth MD

Dalberth, Salvatore J. M.D. Irondequoit: Born May 25, 1926 passed away on Monday July 1, 2013 at the age of 87. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles & Carrie (Barone) Dalberth; his brothers, Arthur and Charles Dalberth; and his sisters, Florence Lorenzo (Joseph), and Gloria Natale (Vincent). Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Mrs. Joan (Shaw) Dalberth; his children, Paul (Barbara), Elizabeth, and Mark Dalberth; grandchildren, Alex and Wyatt; sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Dalberth and Delores Shaw; also many nieces and nephews. Sal graduated from Aquinas, St. Bonaventure and Syracuse Medical School. He served his internship and residency in pediatrics at Rochester General Hospital, then served in the Army for 2 years in France. He was a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Past President of the Rochester Pediatrics Society and served as a pediatrician in the Rochester area for 50 years. His family was the joy of his life followed closely by his pediatric family. Calling hours, WEDNESDAY (Today) 4-8 PM at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road (Webster, Rte 250). On FRIDAY, family and friends are asked to go directly to St. Kateri at Christ the King Church (445 Kings Hwy) for the celebration of his Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Inurnment, private.
