Obituary of Ellen Glus

Glus, Ellen M. (Pupchek) Fairport: Surrounded by faith and family, Ellen died peacefully on Monday, June 10th after a well-fought battle with cancer. A native of Little Falls, NY and a graduate of Little Falls High School, Ellen was employed by Fairport Central Schools for 35 years. She leaves her husband of 56 years, Boris, and her three daughters: Sonya (Stephen) Tierney of Rochester, Cindy (Greg) Lane of Fairport and Debbie (Ken) Hampson of Victor, as well as eight beloved grandchildren: Mary Kate, Caroline and Elizabeth Tierney; Andrew, Alexandra and Michael Lane; and William and Nathan Hampson. Also survived by her dear sister, Millie (Rod) Lowe of Rochester and many treasured family members and true friends. She is predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary Pupchek, lifetime residents of Little Falls, NY. Calling hours will be Wedenesday 2-5 pm at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd., (Rte.250), Webster, and 7-9 pm at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 855 S. Goodman St., Rochester with a Panikhida service at the church at 7:30 pm. Funeral service will be Thursday at 12:30 PM at the church with Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the church in her loving and eternal memory.
