Obituary of Joseph Tedesco

Tedesco, Joseph A. Rochester/ Pasadena, MD: Passed away after a long, courageous battle with cancer on January 18, 2013, age 91. Predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Mary (Cordaro); his parents, Frank and Lena Tedesco; brothers Jack and Angelo; grandson Joseph "Joey" Tedesco. Survived by his son, Frank (Joyce) Tedesco; daughter, Maria (Harvey) Rothstein of MD; grandchildren, Patrick (Ann Portnow) Drews, Michelle (Matt) White, Sean (Julie) Tedesco, Kimberly (Dean) McDonough, Jonathan (Amanda Latimore) Rothstein, Sue (Dan) Dehoney, Craig (Donna) Louis; his brother, Rudolph (Janette) Tedesco; sisters-in-law, Josie and Theresa Tedesco; several great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Joe was a combat wounded survivor of the Battle of the Bulge in WW II. Calling hours TUESDAY, 4-8 at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St. On WEDNESDAY, family and firends are asked to go directly to Guardian Angels Church (2061 E. Henrietta Rd., Roch. 14623) for the celebration of his Funeral Mass at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society , or to the Wounded Warrior Project. Interment, Holy Sepuchre Cemetery.
