Obituary of Robert Marvin

Marvin, Sr., Robert C. Gates: Died peacefully with his wife and "Ms. Snooty" by his side on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Robert, his mother, Cherrie; brother, James and sister, Vicky. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, MaryAnn; son, Robert C. (Giovanna) Marvin, Jr. and grandaughers, Aliyah and Isabella; brothers, Steve Pastore, Don, Keith and Kenny Marvin; sisters, Barbra Marvin, Mary Beth Schwartz, Sue Turk and Christine Marvin, brothers-in-law, John Turk and Jamie Greeley. He also leaves Dennis (Etta) Flynn and a host of nieces and nephews. Also childhood friends, Jim (Marnie) Cavalier, Dan (Judy) Mangione, and Don (Jean) Bato. Per Bob's wishes, there will no public service, but a celebration of his life luncheon will be announced. His family would like to thank the nurses from Hospice-Visiting Nurse Service for the care he received to help him leave this earth the way he lived his life; on his own terms.
