Obituary of Donna Marie Parenti

WEBSTER- Donna Marie Parenti, 86, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. 

Born in Syracuse, NY on June 16, 1940 to the late John and Margaret O'Connor, Donna was the youngest of eight children and was most proud of her Irish Catholic roots.  A beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Donna was married to her husband, Carmen Parenti, for 63 years, and together they raised three children.  Hers was a life truly focused on faith, family, and friends.

Donna was predeceased by her parents and her seven siblings, Maureen, Mary Lou, John, Charles, Peggy, Edward and James.  She  is survived by her husband Carmen, her three children, James (Alisa), Lori (Bill), and Lisa, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 259 E Onondaga St, Syracuse, NY 13202, on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 9:00am-10:00am, with a Mass of Christian burial to immediately follow.  Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt, NY.
