Marcos De La Cruz
Born on January 5, 1943 and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 20, 2026, at age 83.
Predeceased by his mother, Juana Quea and father, Victor De La Cruz.
He survived by his wife of 59 years, Isabel De La Cruz. Children, Marcoantonio De La Cruz, Alex De La Cruz, Marizet De La Cruz-Leak (Sirrone), Eric De La Cruz. Grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Xavier, Alexis, Jason, Marizet, Namir, and Gabriella. Great Grandchildren, Keia’mari, Brandon Jr., Trey Jr., Aiden, Leo. Bonus grandchildren Eli and Elianna. Along with many other extended family members and dear friends.
Beloved husband,father, grandfather, and friend. From Callao, Peru, Marcos came to the United States June, 1964. Dedicated many years to “Fat 8080” Bronx, NY where he was affectionately known as “One Two (1 2)”. He found great joy in the taxi business, where he became widely known, influential, and deeply respected by many. Through his dedication, hard work, and outgoing spirit, he built a lasting reputation within his company and throughout the community. His impact was undeniable, as he was often recognized and one of the first to inspire many of the practices and styles that others follow till this day. He cherished his family deeply and loved them wholeheartedly. Although our hearts are heavy as we say farewell, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace and free from suffering. May he rest in peace.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 30 from 10-12 with a service at 12pm BOTH at Falvo Funeral Home 1395 N Goodman St Rochester NY 14609. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Le sobreviven su esposa de 59 años, Isabel De La Cruz; sus hijos: Marcoantonio De La Cruz, Alex De La Cruz, Marizet De La Cruz-Leak (Sirrone) y Eric De La Cruz; sus nietos: Michael, Ashley, Xavier, Alexis, Jason, Marizet, Namir y Gabriella; sus bisnietos: Keia’mari, Brandon Jr., Trey Jr., Aiden y Leo; y sus nietos adoptivos: Eli y Elianna; junto con muchos otros familiares y queridos amigos.
Amado esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo. Originario del Callao, Perú, Marcos llegó a los Estados Unidos en junio de 1964. Dedicó muchos años a la empresa "Fat 8080" en el Bronx, Nueva York, donde era conocido cariñosamente como "One Two (1-2)”. Encontró gran alegría en el negocio de los taxis, ámbito en el que se hizo ampliamente conocido, influyente y profundamente respetado por muchos. Gracias a su dedicación, su arduo trabajo y su espíritu extrovertido, forjó una reputación perdurable tanto dentro de su empresa como en toda la comunidad. Su impacto fue innegable, pues a menudo era reconocido y fue uno de los primeros en inspirar muchas de las prácticas y estilos que otros siguen hasta el día de hoy. Valoraba profundamente a su familia y la amaba con todo su corazón.
