The world lost the most beautiful woman, Patty Forte, precious wife and mother, who passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 76. She loved her family beyond words and loved the Lord Jesus with her whole heart.

Patty Forte was born on September 21,1949 and dedicated her life to nurturing and loving her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Patty was the most beautiful blessing to her husband Rod. They met when she was 13 years old, had been married for 55 wonderful years, and their marriage and time together was a gift from the Lord. She cherished, loved and was so proud of all her children who she cared for, encouraged, and supported in special ways that helped to shape them into who they are today. They all were her greatest blessing. She also had a very special love & affection for her grandchildren and was always encouraging them, loving-on them, and could not wait to spend time with them. She was called “Gammy” or “Mimi” and they were her greatest joy.

Patty will always be recognized as a fabulous cook, and everyone will remember her special meals and desserts. Her pasta sauce, chicken soup, stuffed artichokes, banana bread, hello dolly, pizzelle’s, fudge & Jello desserts and so much more were amazing. She loved to sew and created many very special quilts for family members with a personal label on the back containing a loving message for each person as well as crocheted and knitted items for family members to wear.

Patty loved to dance - especially tap dancing & was on the Ted Mack show in New York City early in her life, and continued tap dancing as an adult, including on stage performances. She also had special friends, some from childhood, who loved to spend time with her. Whether it was playing golf, shopping, or special days together her friends were always so glad to be around her for days filled with fun and laughter.

She was also instrumental in organizing and implementing Christian programs at Browncroft church and at her retirement community in Florida. Many people were blessed and had their lives changed in special ways as a result of her efforts. At Xerox Corporation as a Financial Controller, she was recognized for her organizational skills and exceptional ability to manage and execute in her position.

Patty is predeceased by her mother Blanche Gould and stepfather Chuck Gould. She is survived by her loving husband Rod Forte; her daughter Shelby Forte; her son Jamie Forte (Jenn); her daughter Kristy Iannotti (Nick); her son Mark DeHond (Melody); her brother John Gould; her sister Sandy Eno; and her cherished grandchildren Rosalie, Chloe and Gianna.

Patty will be missed beyond words for her warmth and deep love for her husband & family, but we have our faith and God’s promise that we will see her again in heaven and spend eternity with her.
