Obituary of John J. Marsh Jr.

John J. Marsh Jr., age 83, passed away on May 6, 2026.  He was predeceased by his parents, John and Louise.  He is survived by Kathleen Thomas with whom he shared his heart for almost 30 years; his devoted children Andrea and John; his son-in-law, Matt, and daughter-in-law, Mary; and his cherished grandchildren Bryan, Jakob, Nathan and Nicole. 

John was a respected Certified Public Accountant for several decades.  He treated his clients like family.  He loved sports, in particular golf and baseball.  He was a season ticket holder of the Rochester Red Wings for several years, but his favorite team was the New York Yankees. 

Calling hours to honor John will be held on Thursday, May 14th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fpt Nine Mile Point Rd, Webster, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 15th at St. Jerome’s Church, 207 Garfield St, East Rochester, NY at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue, Rochester NY.  There will be a celebration of life at 1:00 pm at one of John’s favorite restaurants Proietti’s at 980 Ridge Road, Webster NY.
