Carrie L. Boorum

March 4, 1973 - May 1, 2026

Carrie Boorum, 53, of Ontario, New York, passed away on May 1, 2026.

She was predeceased by her mother Patricia A. Boorum. She is survived by her son Jeremy S. Boorum, father Stephen D. Boorum, siblings Steven H. Boorum and Michele M. Johnson, nephew Ian W. Johnson, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and loved ones. She is also survived by her beloved dogs Ollie Boorum and Reagan Boorum.

Carrie was a graduate of East High School and later earned her degree at Monroe Community College. After college, she built her career as an accountant. Carrie spent the majority of her professional career working in nursing home accounting at the Jewish Home of Rochester and Hurlbut Care Communities, and most recently worked for Weco Manufacturing Group.

Beyond her work, Carrie was a creative spirit who loved all arts and crafts. She could often be found working on her diamond paintings, coloring images, and making wreaths and greeting cards. Carrie also loved cooking, baking, and decorating for all holidays.

In her life, Carrie was most proud to be a mom to her son Jeremy. She was a beloved mother and daughter and a dear friend with a kind and caring heart who will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Heritage Christian Services.
