Obituary of Ulysses Rivera

Ulysses Rivera, of Rochester, New York, passed away at the age of 55. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York in East New York Ulysses carried his roots and pride throughout his life. 

Ulysses Dedicated over 20 years as a truck driver, known for his strong worth ethic and commitment to providing for his family. Outside of work, he was a cool, laid-back and funny soul with an old-school spirit that made people gravitate toward him. He had a deep love for music enjoy trips to Coney Island, and cherish time spent with his beloved dogs, Fancy and Leo. 

Above all ULYSSES valued family, he has survived by his father Raymond Rivera, his mother Hilda Reyes his daughter, Melissa Rivera, granddaughter Emma Rivera, and fiancé, Nancy Avila. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

A funeral service will be held on May 2, 2026 from 9 AM to 12 PM at Falvo Funeral Home 1395 N. Goodman St. Rochester, NY 14609.
