Obituary of Barbara Ann Hurley
Passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026. Predeceased by her son, David; Parents, Albert and Frances Lenhard; Brothers, Charles (Cora) Lenhard and Thomas Lenhard. Survived by her loving husband, James Hurley; Son, Mark (Michele) Hurley; Grandchildren, Alexa and Gianna Hurley; Sister in-law, Jeanie; Also, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Barbara was a loving woman who cared deeply about her family. Holidays were her favorite time of the year, as they involved setting up her dining room table, making dozens of cookies and chocolate treats. She loved to bake and she shared that love of baking with anyone who entered her home. Barbara was also a teacher at heart. She worked in the city and private school system for many years. Her teaching did not stop there once her grandchildren came into this world. She loved reading, writing, and crafting with them, from making bracelets to coloring. If you knew Barabara, you knew how big her heart was. She touched many people directly and indirectly in this world. She will be missed.
