Robert R. Orico
ROCHESTER – Robert R. Orico, 74, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
Robert was born in Rochester, New York on September 18, 1951.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Josephine Orico, and his brother, Richard Orico.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Patricia Barber (Edward) and Barbara Abbe (Jonathan), his sister-in-law, Jenifer, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Robert lived a life that, while not always easy, was marked by resilience, quiet strength and filled with connection, care and joy. He was deeply loved by his family and cared for by many dedicated individuals throughout his life. He touched the lives of family members, caregivers, and medical professionals who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of his group home, as well as the nurses, doctors, and medical teams who provided him with dignity, comfort, and kindness.
Donations may be made to Heritage Christian Services or Lollypop Farm Humane Society of Greater Rochester.
Robert’s life was a reminder that love, patience, and human connection are what matter most. He will not be forgotten.
Calling hours will be held at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road, Webster, NY 14580, on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at The Church of the Holy Spirit,1355 Hatch Rd, Webster, NY 14580, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 10:30am. Burial, immediately following, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
