Albert R. Konze

 

Albert R. Konze of Walworth, New York, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at the age of 87.

 

Albert was born on September 13, 1938, to Richard and Rose Konze (Madera). He was a man defined by loyalty, strength, and an unwavering devotion to his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Richard and Anthony Konze.

 

For more than 30 years, Albert shared a devoted and enduring companionship with Maryann Bianca. Their life together was filled with love, laughter, and a joy that could be felt by everyone around them. Her presence brought him comfort and peace, and the bond they shared was one of the greatest blessings of his life.

 

Above all else, Albert was a family man. He was a proud and powerful presence in the lives of those he loved. He showed up without hesitation and stood beside his family through every season of life. His greatest fulfillment came from being with them, supporting them, and serving as a steady and dependable source of strength they could always count on.

 

He is survived by his brother, Emile Konze of New Jersey; his sisters, Marie Carlino of Massachusetts and Lorraine (Rosario) Rossano of Long Island, New York; his daughter, Mary Regan; and his son, Joseph (Janine) Konze Sr. He is further survived by his stepdaughters, Tina (Angelo) Bianca-Affronti, Roxanne Chiccino, and Maryjo Bianca; and his grandchildren, Nicole Konze, Jon (Elena Blood) Regan, Ryan (Amanda) Regan, Krista (Daniel) Higgins, Joseph (Melanie) Konze Jr., Michael Bianca, Samantha (Quinn) Donnelly, Corey (Alyssa Benhke) Chiccino, Joseph (Chante Scott) Chiccino, Bianca Bastian, and Bradley Bastian. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

 

In his final days, Albert was cared for with compassion and dignity by the nurses and medical staff of Units 2800, 4800, and 6800 at Rochester General Hospital. Their kindness and care brought comfort to both Albert and his family, and their efforts will always be remembered with gratitude. Albert’s strength, presence, and devotion to his family will remain with those he loved forever.
