Obituary of Carl W. Miller Jr.
Carl William Miller Jr.
November 6, 1961 – February 11, 2026
Carl, our dearest brother, loved music, a cup of coffee with friends, family gatherings, Bible study, and attending church with his loved ones. He also had a love for his favorite teams, proudly cheering for the San Francisco Giants, The Golden State Warriors and the San Francisco 49ers. Whether watching a game or talking sports, his enthusiasm always brought energy and smiles to those around him.
Carl honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. His time as a Marine reflected his quiet strength, dedication, and deep sense of duty — qualities that remained with him throughout his life.
He had a gentle spirit and a warm smile that made everyone feel welcome. The memories we shared with him will be held dear in our hearts forever.
He leaves behind his sisters, Sherry Love, Sharon Davenport, Jacqueline Tomassetti, and Rainey Miller; his brother, Jeff Miller; and many beloved in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister, Cory Wilson.
Carl’s faith was the foundation of his life. He loved the Word of God and found comfort and strength in Scripture. We rejoice in the promise of eternal life and take comfort knowing he is now in the presence of the Lord he loved so deeply. Though we grieve his absence, we celebrate a life marked by devotion, kindness, and quiet faithfulness.
Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, California
