Obituary of John Joseph Cavalier
John (Jack) Cavalier, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
John is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Jane (Cacciola), daughter Christine (John) Turner, grandchildren Jessica(Jonathan) Hogestyn, Melissa Turner and Joseph Turner, great grandchildren Connor and Carter Hogestyn and sisters Angela Martin and Donna Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
He is pre-deceased by his son John Thomas Cavalier, parents John B. and Marie Cavalier, sisters Joylene, Cathy, Maryann and infant granddaughter Bethany.
Jack was born on April 15, 1938 in Rochester NY. He lived in the city of Rochester in his early childhood before moving to Webster, where he has been a lifelong resident. He worked at Xerox for over 45 years and during that time earned his MBA from RIT after many years of night school. He was also an active participant in the Webster Theatre Guild, playing major roles in several productions. Jack was a passionate, seasoned sailor and was a member and racer at the Rochester Yacht Club. He also was an avid hunter, belonging to the S17 hunting group for many years.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, and his life was filled with love and happiness.
Calling hours will be held at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. Webster, NY 14580 on Thursday February 12 from 3-5pm with a Service at 5pm.
