Age 89
Predeceased by beloved husband, James; daughter Mary Aileen; grandson, John Paul Lyons; and brother William Keaveney. Survived by children, Mary Beth (William) Bayer, Mary Ann (Kevin) Gottermeier, James (Amy), Timothy (Suzanne), Thomas (Jody), Margaret (David) Lyons, John (Lorraine), and Terese; 35 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Paul; sisters-in-law Catherine “Jeanne” White, Mary Kay McGrath, Sonja Keaveney; and many nieces and nephews.
Maureen was born October 1st, 1936, to her beloved parents Thomas P. and Anna R. Keaveney. She grew up in Johnstown N.Y. and served as an accomplished nurse prior to starting her family. Maureen had a blessed life and cherished her deep relationship with God and time spent with her loving family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday February 6, 2026, from 3-6 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, Webster, 1295 Nine Mile Point Road (Route 250).
On Saturday, February 7, 2026, please meet the family at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park, Rochester N.Y. 14615 for her Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM.
Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, masses may be offered for the repose of her soul and for all the souls of the faithful departed at Sacred Heart Cathedral, or any parish of your choice.
