Obituary of Gaetano DiLiberto

Gaetano (Tony) DiLiberto passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at the age of 95, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Carmelo and Laura Concetta (Finocchio) DiLiberto; and his siblings, Frank (Antoinetta) DiLiberto, Vivian (Salvatore) Geraci, and Sylvia (Angelo) Grifo, his niece Rita DiLiberto, nephew Carl Grifo and good friend Enrico Russo

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Rosa, the center of his life. He leaves behind his children, Carl (Christina) DiLiberto, Russell (Staci) DiLiberto, and David (Andrea) DiLiberto, who were his pride and joy; and his treasured grandchildren, Dominic, Luca, Hannah, Jack, Sam, and Sadie DiLiberto, who brought him endless happiness. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Tony was a steady and guiding presence for his family. He believed deeply in hard work, loyalty, and taking care of those you love. Family always came first, and he led by example—quietly, consistently, and with integrity.

Music was one of his great joys in life. He loved to play the guitar, often sharing music with close friends and family. Those moments—filled with song, laughter, and togetherness—were some of his most cherished and are among the memories his family will hold closest.

Those who knew him will remember his warmth, his sense of humor, and the way he made others feel supported simply by being there. His legacy is one of love, dedication, and a life well lived.
