Obituary of Helen Jane Toscano

Helen passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 10, with her daughter, Marlene, by her side. 

She is predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Michele Toscano, son, Michael Toscano (Andrea) and brothers Gene, Joseph, and Harry.  She is survived by her three daughters, Judith Toscano, Linda Tette (Thomas), and Marlene Stone (Ira); and grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who lovingly called her Nana.

Helen had a flair for the dramatic, loved cooking, music, and anything glitzy.  She was often host for holidays and Sunday dinners where family and friends would gather to eat for hours, play cards and laugh. 

She spent the last years of her life at Penfield Place Nursing Home, where she earned the nickname of “Hollywood.”   She looked forward to visits from her niece Michele, where they could be found playing cards and decorating for every holiday.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 15, from 9am - 11am with a Funeral Service at 11am BOTH at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd Webster, N.Y. 14580.
