Obituary of Carol O'Geen Mileo

Carol was born in Batavia, New York to Rose Martino and Charles O'Geen and was the oldest sibling to her brothers and sister. She was sister-in-law to Carol and Gene LaCapruccia.

Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles, great-nephews and nieces provided her with wonderful lasting memories throughout her life. Among her greatest gifts from God were the devoted, loving friends who shared her life and added so much joy. They added a beautiful tapestry to her world. Her faith community became both family and friends and were a constant source of strength through their kindness and prayers.

Carol is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Rich Mileo, with whom she built a life rooted in faith and unconditional love; her daughters, Lori (Mileo) Mitchell and Sheryl (Mileo) Valente; grandchildren Nathan (Sara) Mileo, Kayla (Kei) Bartolome, James D. (Aly) Mitchell, Joseph Mitchell, Michael Valente and Kristina Bevins, Nicole Valente, Riley Kettles, and Hunter Kettles, and her great-grandchildren Keisuke Bartolome, Alexander and Lucas Mileo, and James Mitchell; the children of her heart, Jamie and Jen Kettles; her brother Charles (Sue) O’Geen; her sister Rosemary O’Geen Schlaffer; a special bond with her brother Anthony (Angela) O’Geen; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She is pre-deceased by her grandmother, Carrie O’Geen; mother Rose Martino O’Geen and father Charles O’Geen; her daughter Krista Mileo; her sister-in-law and brother-in- law Roseanne Mileo and Alan Stiehler; special friends Germaine Froehlich, Betty Nacy and Father Tim Horan.
