Obituary of Anna R. Bonanno
Anna R. Bonanno passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on December 1, 2025, at age 97. A devoted wife, mother, and Nonna, she was known to all those who were fortunate enough to have eaten at her table as just shy of a Michelin Star chef. Sharp to the last moment, she loved Sudoku and word search, was an expert seamstress, and kept every family member warm through decades of knitting and crocheting.
Predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Antonio Bonanno. Survived by her children, Linda (Russell) Martin and Charles Bonanno; Grandchildren, Ryann (Adam) Lindsay, Samantha (Brittany) Bonanno, Kyle Leeming, Matthew Fair, and Rosanna (Joshua) O’Dell; Great-grandchildren, Brett, Ella, Levi, Mason, and Lincoln; Sister Rosetta Monachino. Predeceased by her parents Pietro and Felippa Palumberi, brother Pietro Palumberi, sister Maria Sammarco, and brother-in-law Saverio Monachino. Also, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and in-laws both here and in Italy.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 11am-2pm at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Pt. Rd. Webster, N.Y. 14580. There will be a brief service immediately following at 2:00pm, also at Falvo Funeral Home. On Monday, December 8, all friends and family are welcome to attend a graveside entombment at Whitehaven Memorial Park at 12:00 noon.
