Obituary of Chris James Confer

PENFIELD- Chris James Confer, 70, passed away on November 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. 

Chris was born in Niagara Falls, NY on July 7, 1955, to the late James and Joyce Confer. Chris served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam era and after his service, he began his career in the trucking industry. He loved riding his Harley, going for long drives with his wife, spending time at the races, hanging with friends for a cup of coffee, Sunday breakfast after church, but most of all he loved being with his wife, kids and his well-loved grandchildren. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Diane; his son, Greg (Julie) Confer; his daughter, Alicia (Michael) Maio. He was the best “Pops” to his grandchildren, Gianni, Milania, Alexis, Lillian, Michael Jr., Bentley, Eliana, and Nash; sisters, Deborah (John) Stiefel, Cathy (Kirk) Wright; brother-in-law, Tom (Anna) Morreale and his very special nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Koinonia Fellowship in East Rochester, on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11:00am.
