Chris was an amazing man and always brought warmth and laughter wherever he went or whoever he was with. My family has many treasured memories that include Chris and for that we will always carry his love in our hearts. May you and Michael behave up there - we know you'll always be watching over us.

Dear Diane, Greg, Alicia,, & all the kids….. Pease know we are grieving with you, but also rejoicing that Chris’s pain and suffering is over and he has joined his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for eternity.
Chris was one of a kind, a very busy, mischievous, little boy. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to everyone he’d ever met.
Chris was a talker, making friends with everyone he would meet, always Busy lending a helping hand.
Most of all he loved his Lord and his Whole family and every person that came into his life. It was an honor to be his “Big sister.” Thank you for sharing your life with me, with all of us, over the years…
We cherish all the memories over the past 70 & 1/2 years. You were always so much fun, making us laugh, by just being yourself!
We will always remember this day, 12/1/(2018) when you honored us by walking me down the aisle to marry John,
I have no words, you we love you so much.
We rejoice that your pain and suffering has passed…
Missing you so much, my little brother…
Until we meet again…
Love and hugs, John and Deb

Laughter, the first word that comes to mind when I think of Chris. We met 25 years ago at Koinonia in East Rochester. From breakfast after Sunday service, cookouts, holiday dinners, birthday celebrations we had a blast with Chris and Diane. Diane loves flamingos. One Wednesday night while we were in church sitting behind Chris and Diane, we dashed out and drove to their home. We plugged in a moving flamingo that was about 3 or 4 feet high. We got back to church and sat down. They never knew we left. About 30 minutes after church had ended we got a call. Diane was laughing so hard she could not speak. Chris was laughing and in that very distinctive voice he's said, " I know it was you guys." Of course we denied it, which made all of us just roar with laughter. I remember the time he let me ride his orange chopper around the block. Loved that he trusted me. Chris loved his wife and family. He will be missed by many. Chris, I know you have seen the face of Jesus our Lord and savior and are resting, free of the burdens of this world. I will see you again when I get home. Blessings and love to the Confer family. With love, "Lucy"

Chris was an amazing friend, first person I met at Kioninia and Chris and Diane welcomed Lou and I with open arms...I remember Chris was a fanatic about his lawn, Lou and I and Tammy snuck over in the middle of the night and dumped 50lbs of bird seed in numerous piles on the front lawn as well as 12 pink flamingos....I wished I could have seen his face when he got home in the A.M from work...he ended up vacuuming his lawn....absolutely loved that man and all his family.

Chris Confer was one of those rare souls who made the world brighter just by being in it. He lived each day with a positive mindset—always smiling, always lifting others up. Chris had a way of making everyone feel instantly welcomed, like you’d known him for years - including me. His kindness, his humor, and the way he loved so wholeheartedly were gifts he shared effortlessly.
He was a devoted husband, a proud grandfather, and the kind of family man whose love extended beyond blood—embracing friends who forever felt like family. We will always remember his warmth, his laughter, and the gentle strength he carried through life.
