Obituary of Vera M. Flight

In Loving Memory of Vera Flight

June 6, 1956 - November 22, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vera Flight, beloved wife, loving mother and grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully surrounded by family on November 22, 2025 after a courageous 17-month battle with glioblastoma (brain cancer). She was 69years old.  She was predeceased by her parents, survived by husband, daughter, son, sister, brother, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

Vera lived a life defined by love, grace, and family. She faced her diagnosis with unshakable courage and dignity, never losing her kindness, humor, or compassion for others. Through every challenge, she remained the heart of her family - steadfast, nurturing, and filled with hope.

Vera married the love of her life, Robert, on May 30, 1982, and together they built a home overflowing with laughter, warmth, and love. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family, grandchildren, and sharing life’s simple moments - gardening in the sunshine, cooking favorite meals, or sitting hand-in-hand with those she loved most.

She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Robert, her children Crystal (Skinny) and JR (Sarah), grandchildren Alyssa & Lydia and Dylan & Logan, sister Nada (Pepi), brother George (Silvana), many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Her spirit of kindness, strength, and unwavering love will continue to guide those she leaves behind.

Though her time with us was far too short, Vera’s light continues to shine through every heart she touched.

The Calling hours will be on Friday 11/28 from 4-7pm at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd, Webster, NY

The Funeral will be on Saturday 11/29 at 10am at the St Dimitria Macedonian Church, 235 Telephone Rd, W Henrietta, NY
