Sharon & Renee’, Your mom was our neighbor & a friend for many many years. She was always so thoughtful and helpful. When we were away, she volunteered to help with our dog and we also took care of her kitty. We communicated on Facebook and I always considered her to be one of the best human beings. So sorry for your loss.

I often had lunch with Kathy and our other friends at Monroe Community Hospital. Through her sharing of positive cruising experiences, my husband and I enjoyed several cruises. My sincere sympathy to all your family.

Kathy and I met at Monroe Community Hospital and often ate lunch together. We kept in touch and she visited us in Florida and I caught up with her when we were in Rochester. She always had a big smile and a wonderful keep going spirit. She will be missed! Condolences to Sharon and Renee and your beautiful families.

Kathy was a joy to behold! Always optimistic with a plan for now and in the future. She loved to discuss clothing and earrings! She always asked how everyone is doing. She absolutely loved her daughters and grandchildren, not to mention other family members! She met my grandson once at the elliptical event at the Y. She always asked about him. She will be dearly missed! I only knew Kathy from the Y and the Community Room. A truly bright light in our world❣️

Whenever I saw Kathy at a Browncroft Community Church service, she was a ray of sunshine. She was always thinking of others before herself even during her illness. She will be missed by many. My deepest sympathy to all her family. She is now rejoicing in Heaven with her Lord and Savior.

To the family of Kathy & Ed Oette, I met them both at Browncroft Community Church years ago. They were wonderful. Ed was quiet but Kathy she just was a ray of sunshine. I got to know her a bit as we went to Webster HS for water aerobics. She was so energetic, funny, and full of life. She truly was a blessing. After leaving Rochester and moving to Florida, Kathy came down to Bradenton and we got together while she was in Florida. It was always great to see and hear from her. She will truly be missed by many friends that she made. My deepest condolences to you all and may God comfort you during this time.

To Sharon, Brent and the Oette family What a blessing it was for us to have Kathy in our lives at Scranton Road. She was a beaming light for Jesus, reached out to all was a very loyal encourager, even during her personal battles. We sincerely loved her and miss her greatly. But, we are so grateful for heaven.
