The Semmlers were some of first friends when moving to my new neighborhood. I'll always remember Carl as a kind hearted , stoic guy who loved his family. I spent alot of my childhood over at his house and he always treated me like one of his own. Much love to the Semmlers from all the Wenderlich crew!

Our condolences to Carl's family. I have been blessed to have known Carl since elementary school . We had many good times and fun together . Carl was a great mentor for kids basketball. We had a blast coaching all the kids in Greece basketball.

Eileen and Kids. My condolences. Carl and I have known each other since we were 4 and started Elementary school. We were born on the same day so it was always double cupcake parties when we had the same Elementary teachers! 29 years ago I moved to Vegas. Prior to that Carl and our friends had many wonderful experiences. Most happy, but some sad. His best day ever, though, was when he married you Eileen. My thoughts and prayers to you and all the family.

My deepest condolences go out to you Eileen and your family. As I said before I only knew Carl for a couple of years at Honeymoon Island, but knew he was a wonderful person from the minute we met. He always had a smile and was there to help any one who needed it. I have wonderful memories of both of you. To Eileen and family ,
I was so sorry to hear of Sensei Semmler’s passing. He was not only a friend who I respected immensely but a mentor. I always appreciated the help he provided to me in my quest to receive a black belt. The time he took to mentor me in and out of the dojo was above and beyond what any student could have hoped for. My respect for him as a teacher and a friend immeasurable. I reached out to Carl via text this week and he told me about being hospitalized and of the reaction to the chemo he had taken recently. I’m so sorry for the difficulty he and your family have endured over these past several months. I pray that you and your family can all take comfort in the wonderful memories you shared with this great man. He surely will be missed by many.
