Obituary of Patricia A. Kramer

Patricia passed away October 29, 2025.  Predeceased by parents Edward and Josephine Kramer, sister Kathleen Kramer.  Pat is survived by her sister Margaret (Robert) Meisenzahl, brothers Edward (Janelle) and Michael (Anne) Kramer.  Many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.

Pat was an employee of Xerox for many years.  In retirement, she cherished her time with all her pets, raising and training dogs for the blind and caring for her friends' and neighbors' pets.  We will all miss her beautiful smile and her spunk.

Pat was a very strong, active and determined woman, with a beautiful smile. She was very athletic and participated in many sports throughout her life from golf to skiing. She loved the outdoors and hiking with her many dogs over the years from Heidi to Darci. She enjoyed many years at her cottage in Sodus Point, sharing it with her family and friends, swimming, boating and especially sailing on her sailboat Oops. She loved playing card games with her bridge group and a good game of garbage every Christmas Eve, when she hosted the family and friends for the special dinner. Oh, and having the Christmas Eve pyramid. How no one was ever hurt is amazing.

Pat believed in working hard and saving over the years and was successful in life because of that. She also believed in helping others. Besides helping all her siblings when they needed her, she donated her time and money to many charities, especially children and animal related.
She was a great supporter of and donated to the Sisters of St. Joseph. She admired these women who dedicated their lives to their church and community.

Pat was a fierce advocate for women's rights and equality. She believed in equality for all regardless of gender, disability, race or religion. She worked to make the world a better place for everyone. She devoted many years to raising and training puppies for the Seeing Eye programs for the blind. Her last dog Darci was her best. The program Darci was in was discontinued. Pat kept Darci and had her certified as a therapy dog. Darci went to nursing homes, schools, libraries and anywhere Pat and Darci could bring happiness and love.

After Darci's passing Pat continued to dog and pet sit for her friends and neighbors. All animals loved her and she loved them.

Pat told it like it is. She was feisty at times and did not sugar coat anything. Yet, her beautiful smile, kindness and generosity is how she will always be remembered. Her final act of generosity is donating her earthly remains to the University of Rochester for research and study.
Perhaps to help find cures for and to kick cancer's a**.

We would like to thank her aides, especially Debbie, her doctors, nurses and the Webster Comfort Care Home for their excellent care.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450, or the Webster Comfort Care Home, 700 Holt Rd., Webster, NY 14580.

There will be no calling hours.  A Funeral Mass will be held at Peace of Christ Parish, at St. Ambrose Church, on Monday, November 10, at 10:00 a.m.
