Obituary of June R. Young

On October 13, 2025, June Robertson Young went to be with her Lord and Savior, at age of 103.

June and her husband Howard (predeceased), married in 1940, and had six children, John (Jackie) (predeceased), Jeff, Susan (predeceased), Steve (predeceased), Tim, and Paul.  Moving to Marion in 1947, they raised their family and resided there until their passing.  June had a ready mind until her death, she kept apprised of her children’s lives as well as the lives if her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  Though she and her siblings had some difficult years in their youth June was always compassionate toward those around her who were going through trials.  She in her later years was the matriarch of the Robertson clan which continues to grow.  One way June expressed her love was by sending greeting cards.   She enjoyed writing these cards to all the people she has known through the years. Annually, hundreds of these cards would be sent to expecting recipients who had come to look for them.   She will be missed by those who have come to know her love, compassion, and kindness.

June’s Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11am at Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church, 48 South Estate Drive, Webster, N.Y. 14580. Interment Webster Rural Cemetery. Donations may be made to Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church.
