Obituary of Rose Santirocco
Rose "Rosie" Santirocco (Minardo/Marafioti)
Rochester, NY: Passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 92 surrounded by family. Predeceased by her husband Ronald Santirocco, parents Pasquale and Carmella Marafioti, brothers and sisters Francis, Katherine, Dominick, Carmen, Mary and Josephine and her ex-husband and friend Michael Minardo.
Survived by daughter Michele (Lucian) Malycha, grandson David (Lindsay) Malycha, great granddaughter Teagan Marie, stepdaughter Nina (Chris) De Vincentis, granddaughter Ashley (Doug) Larson, twin sister (best friend) Virginia "Ginny" Marafioti, several nieces, nephews, and close long-time friends.
Rose was one of a kind and will be remembered for her loving, caring, selfless soul. She loved life and she loved people; this was seen in the unequivocal devotion to her family and friends as well as all her customers from Georges and Tom's restaurants.
She was a true angel sent from heaven and life will never be the same without her however, remembering her generous heart and sweet smile, she will be in all our hearts forever!

No prior calling hours. Please join the family on Saturday November 1st, 10:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 1124 Hudson Avenue for her Funeral. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Services will be available livestream at: https://www.saintstanislausrochester.org.for those unable to attend. Celebration of Life luncheon following at the St. Stanislaus Church Hall after inurnment.
