Obituary of Joyce J. Strawhand

Passed peacefully on October 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Andrew Strawhand. Joyce leaves behind her daughter, Darlene (Mark) Smythe; granddaughter, Laura (Joshua) Youngman; great-grandchildren Andrew, Edward and Eleanor; daughter, Linda Credit and grandson Adam Credit.

Joyce had a deep love for family time and homemaking, you would never leave her house hungry! She enjoyed the outdoors and could be found most summers tending to her gardens, at the cottage or camping with friends and family. She was passionate about her work teaching preschool at Twelve Corners Day Care Center for many years. Joyce was a member of the West Webster Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for decades. 

A celebration of her life was held privately for family and friends.
