Obituary of Theodore Roy Van Ess

Theodore Roy Van Ess, passed away at the age of 62 at home in Rochester, NY, on September 23, 2025. Brother of Rodney Van Ess and sisters Angela Rothert and Meredith Johnson. Theodore was preceded in death by his parents David Van Ess and Gloria Van Ess (Shova), his two brothers, Michael and Davey, and his niece Alyssa. He is survived by his god-daughter, Sonya Marie Guzman. He has 1 nephew, and 7 nieces and is a great-uncle to 8 nephews and 5 nieces.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11 AM – 1 PM at Falvo Funeral Home, 1395 N. Goodman St. Rochester, NY 14609. Interment private.
